Late night at the office. So we invented Pandemic Risk (I’m sure someone has already done this). Both games are played at once. Basic rules of both games apply with a few modifications.
- No armies of above 4 units.
- Armies can’t move/attack out of cities with >= number of diseases.
- Outbreaks wipe out all armies leaving it open to attack.
- No hand limit.
- Hands are kept secret.
- Cards are traded not given/taken.
Still working out the kinks. Would love to hear suggestions.
But… what is the goal? To kill or to save?
Currently we’re trying it with whoever holds the most territory when all four diseases are cured. The main idea is to force diplomacy and alliances into standard Risk strategy.
